Denton Ward Committee 

The next Denton Ward Committee will take place on

Thursday 17th May at 6pm at West Denton Association. 

There will also be a drop in session from 5pm where you can discuss individual concerns with representives from Your Homes Newcastle, Northumbria Police, and Neighbourhood Wardens.  If you would like to apply for a ward grant please contact Denton Communities Officer Paul McKinnell 277 3628.

Friends of Newcastle Trees

The newly constituted Friends of Newcastle Trees takes over the work of the Newcastle Tree Wardens as set up by the Newcastle City Council Tree Strategy. A 'Friends of Newcastle Trees Information Sheet' is available.  Tree Wardens from Friends of Newcastle Trees act as a ‘neighbourhood watch’ over the trees where they live. Looking out for problems like; vandalism, storm damage, disease, dead trees and reporting protected trees being damaged or under threat. You could also help find places to plant more trees in your area and join in with tree, hedgerow and woodland projects.
